Tomomi Nishikubo is one of the worlds best trials riders, and he recently added two new Guinness World Records to his resum. Nishikubo set new records for both steepness and distance while performing a fakie nose manual riding backwards while balancing on the front wheel. Of course, this incredible feat and these new records did not come easily. Apparently it took 50 full course attempts 35 in 2025 and 15 in 2026 to finally pull it off. Along with that, Nishikubo burned through numerous brake rotors and, based on the video, there was no shortage of spectacular crashes during those failed attempts.Obviously it also took an incredible amount of skill, strength, practice, patience, and a heck of a lot of determination. In the end, Nishikubos perseverance clearly paid off.
