Spotted: It Sure Looks Like Wolf Tooth is About to Introduce Their Own US-Made Hubs
Hidden in plain sight at the Wolf Tooth Components booth was yet another exciting product from the rapidly expanding brand. Hot on the heels of their latest clip pedal release and their top-end Mark Zero line, WTC shows up at Sea Otter with what appear to be brand new Wolf Tooth hubs on multiple bikes. Shown in multiple anodized colors, the hubs were on four different bikes in the booth. Wolf Tooth wouldnt divulge any information about the hubs, but by the looks of things, theyre pretty polished and cant be that far off from an official launch. It was interesting to see the hub width and hole count printed on the hub shell, which seems like it could be very useful down the line when youve had the hub for 10 years, and you cant remember what hub standard was used back in 2026. It also clearly shows that its machined in the USA the straight pull hub shell, at least. While we didnt get any info on it, by simply spinning the wheel, the freehub sound makes it seem like its a ratchet-type. Whether WTC is making its own freehub mechanism or licensing someone elses remains to be seen. One thing is for sure when these do become available, it will be easier than ever to give your bike the whole WTC anodized color treatment to match even more of the components.
