The tread seamlessly tapers into the sidewall for a smoother, more aero appearance, and its all electrically cured to minimize rolling resistance.Theres a bead shield to protect against pitch flats, but theres no puncture protection layer under the tread. If you dont need the protection, this is one of the best road tires weve ever ridden, and now its wider.The tread is a Graphene + Silica compound, which is simultaneously fast yet grippy, even in the wet. Small grooves on the sides provide cornering edges, but the center is perfectly smooth.The Vittoria Corsa PRO Speed now comes in 24, 26, 28, and 30mm wide options.
