Fearless Bikes Releases New Steel Version of the Vulture Gravel / Adventure Bike
A little more than a year ago, Fearless Bikes launched the Vulture Ti Gravel bike. Well, now the UK brand has a steel version! Introducing the new Vulture MK2. Fearless Bikes says this is the same bike as the titanium version but in double-butted chromoly steel.(Photos / Fearless Bikes)The MK2 is a big tire gravel bike designed to be ridden all day covering many miles. The geometry is a little slacker on the MK2, and it runs a more compact frame, improving standover clearance. Vulture says that with the MK2, theyve found the right balance of good road manners and excellent off-road performance. The Vulture MK2 can run tires as big as 700x55mm or 650bx60mm. This opens up your choices for tire widths and tread patterns. Besides the freedom to pick the right tire, the MK2 frameset also offers cable routing for a bottom-pull front derailleur. The Adventure ForkMany, many mounting pointsExternal Dynamo wire routingIncluded with the frameset is the Vulture MK2s highly versatile steel fork thats chock full of features. With the large array of mounting points, the fork is ready for just about any front carrier/cage combinations including smaller bag supports, mid-blade rack mounts, and dropout-mounted porter-style bags. Theres also hassle-free external dynamo light wire routing that runs behind the right fork blade with removable cable clips.Tapered headtubeThe frames tapered headtube has a 44mm ID that will accept a 1.5 tapered carbon fork. Fearless says the geometry is designed so theres no change to the geo when a fork with an A/C around 398 is fitted with a 44mm external headset cup.The Vulture GeometryVulture MK2 Frameset Retail, Specs & FeaturesRetail: 865 ($1,120)FrameDouble butted chromoly steel, carbon fork ready tapered headtube, Cable routing for 2x & 1x mechanical drivetrains, 2x water bottle mounts, 1x Anything cage mount, grime busting forward-facing seat post collar.Dropouts34/44mm tapered.
