- BIKERUMOR.COMFireflys New 3D-Printed Ti Radar Mounts Integrate with Its Ti Seat CollarsThe titanium wizards at Firefly Bicycles make some truly lustworthy custom titanium frames, along with a growing range of components to accompany them. From stems and seatposts to headsets and seat collars, Firefly crafts seriously classy-looking, high-end titanium parts that can add elegance to any custom build. Just recently, the brand expanded its product selection with 3D-printed Radar Mounts designed to integrate with its Titanium Seat Collars.Firefly Radar Mount DetailsLike everything else Firefly makes, the new Radar Mount is made of titanium. It is 3D-printed in the shape of a circular housing inside of which a Garmin or Wahoo insert is then attached. It is only compatible with Fireflys Seat Collars, both standard and integrated. Fireflys lightweight Ti Seat Collars feature a dual-barrel design for perfect bolt alignment and clamping force.Attaching the Radar Mount requires swapping one of the collars barrels out for one with a short extension. The post of the 3D-printed mount then bolts to the barrels extension and can be pivoted to optimize its angle. It can also be flipped to position it above or below the seat collar to suit varying frame sizes or radar-height preferences. The Firefly Radar Mount is compatible with the most popular radars on the market, including the Wahoo Trackr Radar, Garmin Varia RearVue 820, Garmin Varia RTL515, and Garmin Varia RVR315 (but not the Garmin Varia RCT715). The brand says that its also compatible with virtually any rear bike light that attaches to a Garmin or Wahoo quarter-turn mount. When purchasing, buyers choose between the Garmin- or Wahoo-style inserts to match their devices mount style.Firefly did not share the weight of the Radar Mount, nor is it listed on the product page of the website, but we think its safe to assume its probably pretty light. Purchasing one will definitely lighten up your wallet a bit, too. The 3D-printed titanium Radar Mount retails for $125. Again, it is only compatible with Fireflys Titanium Seat Collars, which start at $120. If you buy both at the same time, you take $13 off the price of the Radar Mount. Still, these bits are undoubtedly luxury items.AvailabilityFirefly says that they launched the new Radar Mounts a few weeks ago, and the first batch sold out very quickly. Theyve since had the chance to 3D-print some more, and they are currently back in stock. Head to the Firefly website to check out the new Radar Mount, the rest of the titanium component lineup, or to start dreaming about a new custom Ti frame.fireflybicycles.com0 Comentários 0 Compartilhamentos 464 Visualizações

- BIKERUMOR.COMOneUp Introduces ReRide, an Online Marketplace to Buy and Sell Pre-Owned ComponentsBuying and selling used mountain bike parts online can be a great way to save or make some cash, but the process can often be a hassle. In an effort to improve the experience for both buyers and sellers, OneUp Components just announced ReRide, a new online marketplace for pre-owned OneUp products. Buyers get verified products at low prices, sellers get cash or OneUp credit, and products stay in use on the trail for longer. How It WorksI doubt Jackson Goldstone is selling any grips, but who knows?SellingIf you have any functional OneUp Components in new, excellent, good, or well-used condition that you want to sell, head to OneUps new ReRide website. Sellers then choose the product from OneUps wide range of components and enter the relevant details like size and color, along with the products condition (new, excellent, etc.), a short description, and several photos.Sellers choose the sale price and are given the option to enable price drop, which reduces the price of the item by 10% each week until it hits a pre-set minimum. If someone buys your item, OneUp sends you a prepaid shipping label so you can send it off. When a product is sold, sellers can choose between 100% of the sale price in OneUp credit or 80% in cash.Just a handful of the items for sale on ReRide.BuyingIf youre looking for a deal on some clipless pedals, one of the best dropper posts on the market, hubs, or any other OneUp parts, the ReRide site is a great place to look. You can filter through the options by category, size, and condition to find what youre looking for, and view photos and descriptions. If you choose to buy, the item is shipped to you, and once verified to be in the advertised condition, the transaction is completed.OneUps goal is to provide both parties with a protected buying and a secure payment experience. Its meant to be hassle-free for the seller while ensuring the product and its condition are as promised for the buyer. No haggling or sketchy meet-ups with random people from Marketplace.ReRideOneUps new ReRide platform just launched yesterday, and there are already quite a few products listed, many of which are brand-new or barely used, and some great deals to be found.
