Tadej Pogaar's MilanSan Remo jersey is up for auction, but be prepared to spend a lot of cash
The all-white world champions skinsuit worn by Tadej Pogaar when he won this year's Milan-San Remo is up for auction. Pogaar crashed on the approach to the Cipressa with 32km to go, but still rode back to the bunch in the ripped skinsuit and won the race in a two-up sprint against Tom Pidcock. Now the skinsuit, described as exactly as it was that day, complete with a torn race number and road grime, although with the addition of his teammates signatures, is up for auction on GalaBid.com. The highest bid for the battered skinsuit stands at 60,100. GalaBid.com The highest bid for the skinsuit stands at 60,100 with 13 days until the auction closes, so theres still time for you to up the ante. Alternatively, you could sit it out to see if Pogaar wins Paris-Roubaix to seal his fifth and final Monument and puts that jersey up for auction as well. If you do submit the winning bid for the Milan-San Remo skinsuit, youll not only bag yourself a piece of cycling history. Pogaar has pledged to double the winning sum and donate the total to his foundation, which supports children and young people in need. Of course, the Milan-San Remo jersey may turn out to be a bargain if Pogaar does win Paris-Roubaix. Particularly if he crashes on the way. Roll Ensures You Dont Miss the Next Race, Event, or Group Ride
Its happened to us all. You bump into a buddy at the coffee shop, get to chatting, and they mention it. Hey, we missed you on the last group ride!If only youd known about it. Life is busy, and we dont always make it to the local bike shop to check the bulletin board for events and rides (wait, is that too outdated?). Or, more likely, maybe we just dont always see the social media post letting us know (that sounds more 2026).The reality is, there are often just too many social media platforms to follow and keep track of. Fortunately, more apps and websites are rolling out (pun intended), helping local riders connect more easily.Introducing Roll, a web platform helping cyclists easily discover rides, races, and events. Roll allows users to filter by location to see all cycling happenings in their area. You can filter by bike type, place, and dates. Roll allows you to set up a profile, connect to your current socials, and share the rides and events you plan to participate in. Event organizers can also submit events to share on the platform. The Roll webpage also allows you to follow other Roll users, and for them to follow you. I set up a profile and, within a day or so, received my first follower. Of course, I experienced the immediate dopamine release we all seek from social media, naturally prompting me to dive deeper into the cycling platform. Then, I saw that the new follower I acquired, Jake, is the creator of Roll. So, it was more like a MySpace situation with Tom (Ive dated myselfand so have you if you catch that reference). But a follower is a follower.Regardless, Roll seems like a solid platform for keeping up with cycling events in your area. Best of all, it is free. Head to roll.ooo to sign up now.The post Roll Ensures You Dont Miss the Next Race, Event, or Group Ride appeared first on Bikerumor.

Scotts New Film Reminds Us that Things May Change, But Mountain Biking Stays the Same
Scott recently released a solid short film, Still the Same, that follows three friends: Tanner Stephens, Drew Boxold, and Wiley Kaupas. The friends once had big dreams of racing bikes, traveling the country, and even Europe to do so.Wiley and I met in college at the University of Colorado Boulder as freshmen on the mountain bike team, Tanner said. We were both racing downhill and wanted nothing more than to do it at the highest level. That meant traveling to random mountain towns across the U.S., and even Europe, chasing races together. But, as we all discover, times change, and dreams even seem to dwindle. But, for some reason, mountain biking stays the same. So, as life moved on, so did the friends. Wiley, perhaps making the boldest move in the bunch, found himself in New York City of all places. And while NYC is a lot of things, it isnt necessarily the mountain bike mecca of the northeast.Regardless, the men have a plan. While staying at Wileys Brooklyn apartment, they will explore the city, eat good food, and squeeze in a weekend of mountain biking.Their destination? Mountain Creek and Thunder Mountain Bike Parks. Their bikes of choice? Scott Ransom, of course, otherwise, it likely wouldnt be a Scott film! The Scott Ransom is a solid bike indeed. Big travel, with a 170mm 6-bar suspension platform, the Ransom is definitely more geared toward going down than up. However, Scott didnt want a slouch pedaling up, either. Knowing athletes would race this bike at the Enduro World Series, Scott had to develop it with a solid pedaling platform. With the bikes sorted, the three loaded up in Wileys trusty (eh, maybe not so trusty) BMW e30 and hit the road. Fortunately, casualties were few, with perhaps just a flat tire or two (the car and bikes?).Ultimately, the trip was a success (or Scott probably wouldnt have made a film out of it). Mountain biking continues to bring friends together, regardless of distance, and fun times are always found behind handlebars.Credits:Tanner Stephens | Photography | Production | RidingDrew Boxold | Videography | EditingWiley Kaupas | Riding | Specialty Auto MechanicThe post Scotts New Film Reminds Us that Things May Change, But Mountain Biking Stays the Same appeared first on Bikerumor.
