Matthew Brennan (Team Visma-Lease a Bike) won stage 16 of the Vuelta a Espaa at La Rbida on Tuesday 8 September, his fourth victory of the race, beating Bryan Coquard and Vito Braet in the sprint.The 21-year-old took the 181.1km stage from Cortegana in 3:56:33, with Jordi Meeus fourth. It extends a remarkable debut Grand Tour for the Briton, who had already won stages 2, 5 and 11.Enric Mas keeps the red jersey with the top of the general classification unchanged Felix Gall second at 2:06 and Primo Rogli third at 2:10.Irish RidersBoth Irish riders finished in the bunch.
