Garda are investigating a collision involving a bus driver turning and a teenager who was cycling at the junction of Conyngham Road, Chesterfield Avenue, and Parkgate Street at the main entrance of the Phoenix Park in Dublin on July 22nd. According to a witness of the aftermath who contacted IrishCycle.com, they saw a bicycle under what they said was a coach. They said that Garda, the Dublin Fire Brigade and an ambulance were on scene.A Garda Press Office spokesperson said: Garda attended the scene of a road traffic collision involving a bus and a cyclist on Parkgate Street, Dublin 8 onJuly 22nd, 2026 at approximately 3pm.The spokesperson added: The male cyclist, a juvenile, was treated at the scene for non-life-threatening injuries. No other injuries were reported.
