Irish Cycling Campaign, via An Taisce, is seeking to employ a membership development officer. The reason for An Taisces involvement in this role is that the cycling campaign uses it for its human resources structures. Irish Cycling Campaigns member groups include the Dublin Cycling Campaign, the Cork Cycling Campaign, the Limerick Cycling Campaign and a number of other groups in towns around the country. The groups are mainly volunteer-led, with the position being the national campaign groups first advertised paid position since the campaigns national cycling coordinator was hired in 2013. The new role is listed as having a one-year fixed-term contract with the possibility of extension, subject to funding.
