DT Swiss All four of the new 1800 wheelsets have greater internal rim widths. The A 1800 Aero rim has increased from 20mm to 22mm, the E 1800 endurance rims from 22mm to 24mm and the G1800 gravel rims from 24mm to 26mm.DT Swiss says it has broadened the 1800s hooked rims to provide better tyre support, so you can run lower tyre pressures without compromising performance.Lower pressures can reduce rolling resistance, improve grip, and deliver a more comfortable ride, something every rider can appreciate, the company says.The increased rim widths also mean you can fit wider tyres to the new 1800 wheels. DT Swiss recommends tyres up to 35mm wide for the A 1800, 50mm wide for the E 1800, and 60mm wide for the G 1800.New angular design The E and G 1800 wheels have a new angular rim shape said to reduce weight and increase durability.
