Reigning World Champions Katie-George Dunlevy and Linda Kelly have added another European Championship title to their tally this afternoon in Maniago, Italy. The pair finished first in the Time-Trial event, just 0.75 seconds ahead of bikes from GB and Italy respectively. Irish pair Sinead Greenan and Alice Sharpe put on another strong showing in their first year of competition together, finishing fourth in the WB category.Dunlevy and Kelly were not alone in taking medals today, as Heather Jameson (WC2) and Richael Timothy (WC3) both took bronze in their respective categories. A crash for Steve McGowan saw a strong start to the TT hampered, as he took 15th in the MH3 category. Allister MacSorley brought his hand bike home 5th in the MH4 class.Recent World Cup medalists Damien Vereker and Mitchell McLaughlin took 8th in the MB category, while Ciaran OToole and Con Scully took 15th.Racing in Italy continues tomorrow, as McGowan and MacSorley take on the hand bike road races, with all other riders racing on Sunday.Full Results
