Cotics sixth-generation Escapade gravel bike is handmade in the UK and ready for anything
The original Cotic Escapade, released in 2014, was one of the earliest production gravel bikes, before gravel bikes became 'a thing. For 2026, the latest Escapade gains a completely new design, including new geometry and a new blend of steel in its construction. The new frame and fork are handmade in Edinburgh, Scotland for Cotic by frame-building specialist Five Land Bikes. The Escapade comes with a new steel fork and custom headset, with the frame featuring a host of fittings intended to make the 2026 Escapade a great bikepacking option. There are triple anything fork mounts, triple bottle bosses on the down tube and a fourth set on the seat tube, along with hidden rack and mudguard eyelets, and top tube bento box mounts. The external 3D-printed cable routing is removable should you opt for a wireless drivetrain.
