CyclistPro bike: Tadej Pogaars Strade Bianche-winning Colnago Y1RsTadej Pogaar has won Strade Bianche on four occasions, but 2026 was the first on board the Colnago Y1Rs. The Italian brands aero bike was first piloted in competition by the four-time Tour winner at last years UAE Tour, but has since been the bike of choice for the World Champion across all profiles, including the Alps and Pyrenees at the 2025 Tour de France. At Strade Bianche Pogaars first race of the 2026 season he opted for the stripped back, exposed carbon look previously seen in the Tour de France mountain time-trial. Balancing aero gains with weight savings, the Slovenian has managed to drop some precious grams from the Y1Rs, which usually comes to around 7.2kg. Photographer Xavier Pereyron managed to get up close and personal with Pogaars 2026 Y1Rs before he rode to another solo Strade victory. Thats despite the UCI banning rims deeper than 65mm and the 6.7 classically having a 67mm deep rear rim. Dont worry though, Cyclingnews reported that this is a 65mm UCI-legal prototype.
