CyclistUCI Road World Championships 2024: Routes, how to watch and all you need to knowThe 2024 UCI Road and Para-Cycling Road World Championships will be held in Zrich, Switzerland from Saturday 21st September to Sunday 29th September.A total of 66 rainbow jerseys will be awarded in individual time-trials and road races with Zrich combining the Road and Para-Cycling Road World Championships together for the first time.Last year, Lotte Kopecky (Belgium) staged a late breakaway in the dying kilometres for victory ahead of fellow countrywoman Demi Vollering and Cecilie Uttrup Ludwig (Denmark), just a few days after winning two gold medals on the track. In the mens race, neither a sudden crash nor bloodied knee could stop Mathieu van der Poel (Netherlands) from pulling on the rainbow bands. He had jumped clear from a strong break containing Wout van Aert (Belgium), Tadej Pogaar (Slovenia) and Mads Pedersen (Denmark).Remco Evenepoel (Belgium) and Chlo Dygert (United States) rode their way to glory in the elite time-trials.UCI Road World Championships 2024: Key informationCycling WorldsDates: Saturday 21st September Sunday 29th SeptemberLocation: Zrich, Winterthur, Uster and Gossau in SwitzerlandTV coverage: BBC, FloBikes, Eurosport, SBS Sport Related Posts Pro Log: 5 things to remember from the 2023 UCI World Championships Who are the favourites for the elite womens World Championships Road Race?
